Adele fans have discovered yet another reason to love the down-to-earth diva and it has everything to do with her dog’s name. TeamDogs discovered the hitmaker used to have a dog named Britney Spears, but changed her mind after hearing it “sing”.
According to Dogalize, When the puppy was born, Adele was at a Britney Spears gig in London and decided to name him in honor of the occasion.
Despite the fact that the dog was a boy, and it was she – supposedly! – hungover, the Grammy winner stuck with the name until he started howl to their Louis Armstrong records.
Her beloved Dachshund then became Louis after the American trumpeter and singer, who was best known for the songs What A Wonderful Worlds and Hello Dolly.
Adele, who hasn’t released new music in six years, says her boy is the love of her life. She also paid tribute to her late Miniature Pinscher Atilla with a performance of One and Only in 2016.
This week she released a 20-second clip of her latest song Easy On Me.
The short excerpt sees the 33-year-old loading a cassette into a car cassette deck before driving off while sheets of music fly out of the window.
The 20-second clip was cut off before any lyrics were revealed, so fans were dying to know more, including Adele’s new music release date, when to expect the album and what it’s called.
