After alleged coup threats, Anonymous declares ‘war’ against Bolsonaro

Very popular on the internet for defending minorities, the ‘Anonymously‘ group appeared this week in an online manifesto criticizing the government of Bolsonaro managing the pandemic and declaring war on the president for his statements and attitudes that apparently incite undemocratic acts.

The video manifesto was published on the official website of the so-called “Fib Bank,” a private company that is allegedly tied to contracts with the Ministry of Health for Covaxin vaccines, an immunization drug that is apparently being offered at inflated prices.

Anonymous release

The video was replicated this week by the EterSec profile – a cell of the Anonymously group — and brought #Anonymously to the trending topics of Twitter of the past few days. During the video, the messenger quotes some sentences from President Jair Bolsonaro (no party) that would encourage the practice of undemocratic acts in the country, an attitude that would have attracted the attention of hackers to Brazil.

‘We [Anonymous], believe, however, that the road to an ideal society comes with more democracy, not less,” the group said during the video, directly criticizing the alleged coup threats looming next Tuesday, Sept. 7.

In addition to harshly criticizing Bolsonaro’s government, the message also encourages Brazilians to oppose the story preached since 2018 and take to the streets on Independence Day to ensure the existence of democracy: “We must show that minorities, when together under the same flag, they form the majority,” the group quotes.

Invasion of FIB Bank

Anonymously took responsibility for the invasion of FIB Bank, a banking institution under investigation by the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee (CPI), as it apparently participated in negotiations between Need Medicines and the Ministry of Health regarding a R$80 contract, 7 million.

The bank’s website was hacked last Friday (03) and began to display an image criticizing the federal government’s actions in managing the pandemic, particularly in the procurement of vaccines, a theme that has been rife in recent months. was complained by the CPI. .
