Aldi Shops open half an hour earlier this Sunday, ahead of England’s Euro 2020 game against Croatia.
Shops across England and Wales will open 30 minutes earlier than usual for browsing every Sunday to give football fans more time to stock up on groceries during the euro.
The early Sunday opening hours will continue throughout the summer to also allow shoppers across the UK to visit their local store at a quieter time.
Aldi Shops in Scotland maintain their normal opening hours from 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday, in accordance with Scottish Sunday trading regulations.
Richard Thornton, Director of Communications at Aldi UK said: “We can’t wait for football to start this weekend and we want to help our customers enjoy the tournament as much as possible. Opening earlier gives fans more time to stock up on the great quality Aldi Bargains that you need to enjoy football. ”
