Apple | What to expect from the last 2020 event

This Tuesday (10), Apple is holding the “One More Thing” event, where it should present its latest news of the year. To raise expectations for the event and heat up the excitement, we’ve made a list of what to expect ahead of the launch.

Unlike the other presentations in the same period, One More Thing is not showing the same signs of a warmer event and with little redesign of existing products. Currently, the biggest rumor from the event is that the brand will make the switch to its ARM processors and launch the first free notebooks from Intel.

Apple Silicon for Macs

In this sense, one of the expected novelties is the introduction of the first variants of the Apple Silicon processor. The model should have more complete functions and special attention to multitasking, because of the different demands of the computer; with high performance and energy efficiency of a mobile CPU. These variants should be named with the X or Z nomenclature.

Notebooks are expected to come in 13 and 16 inch sizes, in addition to a 13 inch MacBook Air, all equipped with Apple’s own processor.

According to the MacWorld website, there is also the option of having another Apple notebook that makes up the family of devices. In this case, it should be 12 inches, weigh about 1kg, and be portable – and designed to take advantage of the most efficient chip.

AirPods Studio and new AirPods

For accessories, there is also an expectation for new AirPods Studio headphones. The model is said to be over-ear headphones with a similar look to the $ 349 Beats. It would be headphones with a retro design and a lot of attention to portability and everyday use.

Next to him, the new AirPods could be presented. As a Bloomberg rumor points out, the company is working on upgrading its accessory line and preparing “more compact” headphones for the conventional AirPods.

The Apple event “One More Thing” will take place next Tuesday (10am) at 3pm (Brasilia time) and will be broadcast live.
