Ashley Cain has briefed supporters on his daughter Azaylia’s funeral details – and said there will be a way to attend.
The former Ex on The Beach star said he spoke to the police to make sure it was okay for fans to line the streets as their mourners drive through their hometown in the Midlands.
Azaylia died on April 25, aged eight months, after battling a rare form of leukemia.
Her story inspired the world, and many major landmarks lit up to recognize her bravery and a campaign to bring her the Pride of Britain Award.
Ashley, who lives in Nuneaton, Warwickshire with partner Safiyya Vorajee, announced that the funeral would take place next Friday, May 21st.
He encouraged those who had supported the family during their struggle to line a path through town and clap and make “joyous noise” to celebrate Azaylia’s life.
But he urged those who pay their respects to social distance and want to stay in their bubbles.
The 30-year-old, who has previously played football for a number of Midland clubs, wrote: “We would like to thank everyone for their prayers, sympathies and patience over the past few weeks as we grapple with the loss of Azaylia.
“We were incredibly moved by the support we have received far and wide, and all the beautiful gesture of kindness will live in hearts forever.
“We have corresponded with Warwickshire Police to understand how we can enable people who wish to show their respect.
“Due to current restrictions, the family will be attending a private service to celebrate the life of Azaylia, but before the Azaylia service we will be giving Azaylia her final tour of Nuneaton town.

Right on Coton Road (Riversley Park car park CV11 5TY)
And left on Avenue Road (parking lot at Pingles Leisure CV11 4TX)
“We would be touched and honored to see how many of those who so wish pay their respects to Azaylia by lining the streets anywhere along the route that the Cortege will take.
“We respectfully ask everyone taking part in Azaylia’s recent trip to abide by current Covid laws, maintain social distance and stay in your family bladders. This will ensure everyone is safe and following the rules set out .
“As difficult as the day may be, we will do our utmost to make Azaylia’s day an uplifting day to remember her life and encourage everyone who attends to show their love by clapping and making joyful sounds of the Partying goes through!
