Biker forced to cling on to lorry for 19 miles after horror crash killed wife

A biker had to cling to a truck for 19 miles after a horror motorcycle accident that killed his wife.

Anderson Antonio Pereira, 49, was held on for life after his bike was rammed by a speeding truck in southern Brazil and crushed under the front of his vehicle.

His wife Sandra, 47, was left on the road while the truck continued 30 km along the BR-101 highway in Penha.

He asked the 36-year-old suspected drug driver to stop moving and eventually other motorists managed to stop the truck and pull the driver from his seat.

The video captured of motorists on the freeway shows Anderson swinging from the left door of the truck, crushing his bike under the front of the truck, and pushing him down the street.

Anderson is expected to recover from his injuries soon.

But Sandra, who was flown to the hospital by helicopter, later tragically died of head injuries.
