Emmanuel Sanders’ wife Gabby wrote a heartfelt tribute to the Bills wide receiver after his season ended with an overtime loss to the Chiefs last weekend.
“While you haven’t brought a Ring to the team and city that most deserved it this season, you’ve completed Year 12 of your career, played in 3 Super Bowls, got a ring, a 3x pro bowler, and just got into your 7th round of playoffs in the NFL,” the stylist and children’s fashion designer wrote with a photo with Sanders at Arrowhead Stadium. “A playoff game that may be the best the NFL has ever seen.
“Still smells, sees and walks from that field a topper for me! Every time! Prada you!! 4L.”
The Bills star has scored 626 yards and four touchdowns this season. Sanders added a catch for 16 yards in the divisional round loss to the Chiefs—a 42-36 Kansas City win that became an instant classic and caused many to question the NFL’s overtime procedures.
Sanders added a heart emoji in the comments, with his wife adding, “The best teammate on the field and at home too.”
Sanders and Gabby share two children, a son Princeton and daughter Zoie.
Sanders signed a $6 million one-year deal with the Bills last March and will re-enter the NFL free agency in March.
