Bob Saget passed away at age 65 Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the news in a statement shared to Twitter on Jan. 9. “Earlier today, delegates were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes to make a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room,” the statement read. “The man was identified as Robert Saget and pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives found no signs of malicious intent or drug use in this case.”
The stand-up comedian was best known for his starring role as patriarch Danny Tanner in the much-loved hit sitcom Full room, which ran on ABC from 1987 to 1995, as well as hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos from 1989 to 1997. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and his three children, Aubrey, Jennifer and Lara Saget.
