Critics and Audience Review

The series centers around five women, who are powerful and determined in their careers, but they have their flaws, just like any other women out there. They make bold decisions that society disagrees with, but it’s for their good.

The series was created by Lipstick manufacturer Underneath My Burkha and Dolly Kitty Aur Who Chamakte Sitare, who had delivered some solid storytelling and are woman-oriented. The show features female protagonists taking charge of offices and breaking old socio-economic stereotypes about women. The series depicts most of the real issues faced by women. However, at many times it showed pseudo-feminism as there is also misrepresentation of children and cheating is glorified in a relationship.

Bombay Begums Season 2 Release Date

The series faced a lot of backlash for glorifying drug abuse and cheating, as well as its inappropriate portrayal of children.
