Prime Minister Boris Johnson will hold a press conference on Monday evening after setting out new tiered coronavirus restrictions on England.
The Prime Minister, who is still self-isolating, will attend from a distance. The event is expected around 7 p.m.
The UK Chief Medical Officer Professor Chris Whitty and the Director of the Oxford Vaccine Group Professor Andrew Pollard will also attend the press conference.
The address will come after Mr Johnson sets out the new rules in Parliament at 3:30 p.m.
He is expected to announce the return to a three tier system in England – with stricter rules to combat the virus.
This will allow all stores to reopen on all levels of England. However, tier 3 pubs and restaurants are expected to close.
Mr Johnson is also expected to reveal some of the Christmas plans – including a relaxation of lockdown rules.
And there will be an announcement about mass tests as well as an update on vaccinations.
