Cadbury always knows how to excite chocolate lovers with new and ingenious ways for us to get our sugar fix.
Recently, the Birmingham-founded factory teamed up with Oreo and released new products including chocolate infused with Oreo filling and pieces. A match made in heaven.
And now the chocolate giants have gone one step further and have released a new creation that will get everyone’s mouth’s watering.
Cadbury has bought out its new Oreo Crunchy Melts which are massive cookies with a creamy Oreo filling inside, according to Delish.
The product was made famous by Instagram user helenjtea who posted the product that she found on her page. Her description reads: “These had a rich chocolatey flavour and a delicious vanilla creme filling, which was softer and smoother than an Oreo filling. However, they were more like ‘crumbly melts’ than ‘crunchy melts’ as they crumbled apart”.
But if you were thinking of nipping to the nearest supermarket to grab a bag then you might have to think again as only Asda is currently selling them.
You can grab a bag of them for £1.89.
This comes after Cadbury recently shot down the hopes and dreams of there being a vegan chocolate bar released anytime soon.
In a recent tweet by the UK branch of Cadbury, there is no plans at the moment to release the rumoured bar to the general public.
At least not any time soon anyway.
User @ImKhan70 asked the chocolate manufacture when it plans to release a vegan version on their chocolate where it responded and said it was “aware of the rise in consumer interest towards vegan products” but there are “no immediate plans for a vegan Cadbury bar” .
However, the company did say that there were “exciting developments in the pipeline” and told people to “watch this space”.
So if you’re a vegan and you’ve been holding out for a vegan Dairy Milk, you might have to wait a little bit longer unfortunately.
