Campaign aims to help 10,000 UK businesses go green

Financial services company Aviva partnered with business support provider Enterprise Nation and government-backed Smart Energy GB campaign to launch Plan it with a goal, an initiative to promote sustainability in the UK.

The program will encourage, train and support 10,000 UK small businesses to go green.

Over a period of 12 months, small and medium-sized businesses receive free support via a specially developed online platform, including a diagnostic tool, e-learning content, blog posts and guides for the sustainability sector.

Businesses can also take part in virtual events to help reduce the impact of climate change and improve the social cause within the UK business community.

Emma Jones, founder of the small business network and enterprise support provider Enterprise Nation, said, “The pandemic has made it clear to all of us that reducing our own impact on climate change and the world around us is not only important but achievable.

The Plan it With Purpose initiative will help SMEs find out where to improve their performance and performance using a digital diagnostic tool.
