China scientists accused of making Covid and then trying to cover tracks

According to a new scientific study, Covid-19 was developed by Chinese scientists who then tried to cover their tracks by suspecting it came from bats.

The US continues to investigate whether the coronavirus leaked from a laboratory in Wuhan. reports the mirror.

Scientists, however, are due to publish a report that states “beyond any doubt” that Covid-19 was produced through “laboratory manipulation”.

British professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørense have stated that “the likelihood that Covid is the result of natural processes is very low”.

The paid believe that it was created during Gain of Function research in a Chinese laboratory where scientists modify a virus or pathogen to study development and transmission.

They also claim the Chinese scientists reverse engineered versions of the virus to make it appear like it evolved naturally from bats, reports MailOnline.

It comes after British intelligence officials started helping US investigators to determine if Covid-19 leaked from a Chinese laboratory.

US President Joe Biden ordered intelligence experts to “redouble their efforts” and find out the origin of the deadly virus when he spoke earlier this week.

A senior security source in Whitehall told the Telegraph that British intelligence officials are now working with their American counterparts to help them establish the truth.

The source said, “We are contributing to what information we have about Wuhan and we are offering to help Americans confirm and analyze any information that we can help with.”

“What it takes to find out the truth behind the coronavirus outbreak is well-trained intelligence, not in-depth analysis, and that is hard to come by.”

There are also scientists who claim that leading scientific journals like Nature Medicine chose not to publish evidence that the virus was developed in a laboratory.

Madelena Skipper, editor-in-chief, said, “We make decisions based on the strength of the conclusions. Of course we want to understand how the virus evolved and where it came from.”

He added: “To the best of my knowledge, the theory that it is a man-made virus is not being discussed. We are not calling for an end to the debate. No one is claiming this is a closed case.”
