'Cigar-shaped, spinning' object spotted in skies

A video has emerged showing a UFO over the Bristol Channel and some people think it could be a flying “saucer”.

While not quite as sensational as events at Roswell, the silver of the unidentified flying object appears to blend in with the grey skies, just off the coast of Dunster, and it has some conspiracy theorists claiming it’s a camouflaged UFO.

The Daily Star reports the video, taken on Monday, May 18, shows dog-walkers on Dunster beach, Somerset, and as the camera zooms in, the silver, shiny shape can be seen hovering behind a cargo ship, reports BristolLive.

James Wheatley posted the clip on his YouTube channel before it was shared on to The Hidden Underbelly 2.0, a popular conspiracy theorist YouTube channel.

The user tried to enhance the silver object and explained: “Now on enhancement, I’m having trouble typing what kind of object we are looking at.

“It does seem to be cigar-shaped, but there’s also some distortion, which is leading me to think this could be a saucer.

“But the distortion could be coming from it moving, ie spinning. It could also be distortion from the atmosphere because this object must be pretty far out there.

“Guys, this is an incredible sighting.”

Viewers were stunned by the silver object but some explained it could be mirage reflected from other objects.

One wrote: “That’s crazy.”

Another posted: “They have finally come to the UK.”

A third suggested: “Looks like a mirage of the ship but distorted from the heat waves.”

“It is odd that it looks look the boat/ship on the water though so as it’s been pointed out it looks like a mirage, it’s a heat reflection when light changes direction from the previous medium,” a fourth added.
