DogFest returns with events across the UK this September

DogFest 2021 is back in venues across the UK this September, with activities specially designed for your furry friend, including dog shows, exhibitions, take-away activities, a shopping village, festival food, refreshments and music.

The DogFest will also be attended by famous faces like Clare Balding, Michaela Strachan, Matt Johnson and Calum Best.

Register your dog for activities like Hay Bale Racing, Dog Diving, Dogstacle Course, Obedience Challenge, and Agility.

The DogFest, in collaboration with Bought By Many, also offers tips, tricks and advice from guest experts on topics such as animal health and welfare, veterinary developments, nutritional requirements, behavioral psychology and new ownership during the pandemic.

There is also an option to speak to the UK’s largest canine charity, Dogs Trust, to find out about ways to raise funds or move.

For new puppy owners, guests can enroll their puppies at the DogFest Puppy Academy to learn, play, and rest with your puppy, as well as asking questions of experts and getting the latest tips and advice.

Join our brand new website Team dogs now.

When you get there do your brilliant first job sharing a picture of your dog on our Top Dogs feed.

When you’ve done that, you might want to leave a recommendation to help other dog owners in the TeamDogs community.

To round off your dog’s best day, you can also enroll dogs in the Bought By Many sponsored Fun Dog Show and see them compete for titles like Best in Show, Most Fabulous, or Best Rescue.

For those wanting a break from the activities, guests can also roll out a picnic blanket and sit down for an afternoon to listen to festival music and add the festival atmosphere with artisanal food and coffee carts, gin and prosecco bars and other food and drink Enjoying drink stands.

New activities for 2021 include:

Dogstacle course

Dogs who love challenges and have lots of energy to burn will love the Pet Active Life sponsored Dogstacle Course to show your dog how to do it. New to DogFestHertfordshire this year, this challenge rewards the fastest dogs to complete the course. Suitable for all dogs.

hide and seek

Dogs can sniff treats from almost anywhere … but does your dog have what it takes to sniff and find you? In the ultimate game of hide and seek, it’s up to you to choose your best hideout from a range of pop-up tents in the arena, and it’s up to your pup to find you in the race against the clock.

Ultimate frisbee

After seeing a spectacular show in our Main Arena at DogFest Hertfordshire you are invited to give it a try! Meet the experts and see if your dog has the confidence and ability to soar in the sky to catch the Frisbee.
