Download Festival 2022 lineup: Twenty more acts set to take to the stage

Rock and heavy metal fans watch out.

The organizers of the annual Download Festival have confirmed the next 20 acts to be on stage during the three-day event.

A Day to Remember and Volbeat are among the participating groups, and they hope to showcase their music to fans who wish to attend.

Download Festival 2022 Line-Up: Which Acts Have Been Added?

We’ve added 20 acts to the line-up for next year, and we’ll let you know who they are and what day they are performing.

Friday’s new additions include A Day to Remember, Black Veil Blades, Bury Tomorrow, Gender Roles, Meet Me at the Altar, Myles Kennedy and Normandy.

On Saturday you can now hear from Cassyette, Code Orange, Creeper, Death Blooms, Dragged Under, Ice Nine Kills, Malevolence, Mastodon, Obituary and Shinedown.

The additional acts on Sunday are Baroness, Thick and Volbeat, and Myles Kennedy will also give another performance that day.

Download Festival 2022: When should the event take place?

The Download Festival 2022 will take place on the weekend from Friday, June 10, 2022 to Sunday, June 12, 2022.

Biffy Clyro, Iron Maiden and Kiss are the headliners of the Download Festival 2022 and will each perform on one of the three days.

Friday June 10th

Expect the following cast on day one, with Kiss headlining.

The acts on Friday are: A Day to Remember, Black Veil Brides, Bury Tomorrow, Theory, Wayward Sons, The Distillers, Airbourne, Lacuna Coil, Myles Kennedy, Ayron Jones, The Ghost Inside, Sleep Token, Normandie, Meet Me at the Altar, Gender Roles, Press Club, Electric Wizard, Blues Pills, British Lion, Bokassa, AA Williams, Dead Poet Society, Cellar Door, Moon Crow, The Scratch, Tempt and JJ Wilde.

Saturday June 11th

Iron Maiden will lead the festival on Saturday, with a number of acts confirmed.

These are: Deftones, Shinedown, The Pretty Reckless, Black Label Society, Monster Truck, That Damn Crows, The Raven Age, Megadeth, Mastodon, Daughtry, Bush, Code Orange, Ice Nine Kills, Malevolence, Casyette, Funeral for a Friend, Creeper, The Faim, Grandson, Absence, Disgust, Dragged Under, Salem, Blackout Problems, Sepultura, Obituary, Dying Fetus, Bleeding From Inside, Poison Prison, Higher Power, Joyous Wolf, Dead Label, Death Blooms, Temple on Mars.

Biffy Clyro is the headliner for the last day. However, a number of other acts have also been confirmed for Sunday.

Download Festival 2022: How do I get tickets?

Tickets for the Download Festival 2022 are available at the website of the event . There are options for camping and for those who do not want to camp.

Organizers also sell RIP package tickets which are equipped with additional extras such as access to a shower and a fireplace.
