Shade, a two-year-old Australian shepherdess from Massachusetts, USA, went viral on TikTok for her clever trick and excellent acting skills
Dogs can be real drama queens, especially knowing they can get extra attention, cuddles, and treats.
And an Australian Shepherd went viral Tick tock after her dramatic reaction to the injury to her paw.
Shade, a two-year-old dog, had torn its paw pad and was wearing a bandage on its front paw when its owner asked her to sit.
The tri-colored puppy held its weak paw off the ground when her mother asked, “Your leg is broken?”
The shepherd almost betrays the game when she jumps up to greet her owner and hops through the kitchen, tail wagging.
Her owner, a Massachusetts dog trainer and breeder, asks the dog, “Shade, do you think you can do it? Are you dead?”
Shadow falls dramatically on her back and plays “dead”, but quickly lets her owner know that she was just kidding and only wants a treat.
the Video – posted on @ telltaleaussie account – was viewed 746,600 times in 48 hours, with over a thousand comments who can’t believe how dedicated she is to her acting role.
One said, “It’s a death if I’ve ever seen one.”

Another added: “She got the job done and did the extra honor too.”
“And the Dogscar for the best dramatic performance goes to Shade,” said a third party.
Australian Shepherds are very intelligent working dogs that were bred to work on ranches, so they have strong herding and guarding instincts.
The Kennel Club describes her as “great staying power” and “loyal, attentive and lively”. And Shade certainly lives up to her breed standard.
Another adorable Australian shepherd who stole the hearts of TikTok users was named Willy.
The one year old puppy waits for its owners to say “mercy” before eating his dinner, and even waits to be excused from the table when he’s done.
By doing Video – that has amassed 4.7 million views – Willy even holds his paw on the table for his owner to hold on to.
