Tesco shoppers were left embarrassed after a brawl broke out in the egg alley during the two-minute silence.
Shoppers were stunned after hearing screams and screams as they paused in a supermarket in Middlesbrough to pay their respects.
A buyer is believed to have refused to remain silent during the silence over Remembrance Sunda y that led to the excitement, reports Teesside Live.
Cleveland police stepped in to end the brawl with a witness who said broken eggs were left all over the aisle floor.
One shopper said, “We all stood still and watched the two minutes of silence as we heard a lot of screaming and screaming.

A Tesco spokesperson said: “We would like to thank the police for their speedy assistance following an incident at our Eston Cleveland Extra this morning.”
