An elderly woman ravaged by a bear was rescued by friends – who roared until it burst.
The 75-year-old was taking an evening walk near her village when the animal appeared in a curve.
It reared up on its back legs and hit her face with a front claw before attempting to pull her away.
However, her companions, who were a few meters ahead of her, yelled at and made the animal stop.
The victim, just called Carmen, was hospitalized with facial injuries and a broken pelvis and had to undergo an operation.
