Fly-tippers dump entire mobile home crammed with rubbish in layby

People were furious after fly dumpers dumped an entire motor home on the side of the road.

The 8.5 meter long trailer was abandoned on the A40 near Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, just around the corner from a recycling center.

It was packed with discarded items like strollers, wardrobes, bed frames, and vehicle number plates – some of which piled up from the shattered windows.

The abandoned motorhome was first reported on September 1st.

One complainant posted on FixMyStreet, which is logging reports of road problems, saying, “I see this was reported on September 1st and still on September 12th.

“What is the Council’s apology for not removing this and for prosecuting the person whose license plate is on the original September 1st photo?”

A Buckinghamshire Council spokesman said: “Our Highways team is aware of the caravan and will have it removed as soon as possible.”

Adell Coppock responded on Facebook: “I can hardly believe that nobody saw anything or that a CCTV camera somewhere along the way did not record it …”

Rob Papworth agreed, “It’s amazing how they do it undetected.”

Katie Bee complained, “And guess what the council is going to do? Absolutely nothing, just right.”
