A man was left with multiple stab wounds in a pool of blood after a vicious attack in Dublin.
The shocking incident occurred around 6 p.m. in Ballymun.
An eyewitness to the incident told Dublin Live that the gang of four stabbed the victim several times and injured his hands and legs.
They said, “I saw it, ran to help him and took off my scarf to cover his defensive wounds on his hands. He had cuts on his legs, he was badly wounded.
“It’s all on the corner of Marewood Crescent that leads to Balbutcher Lane.
“I couldn’t believe what I saw in my area. Poor man, hope he is fine.
“The poor guy lost a lot of blood and I just hope he’s okay.”
A Garda spokeswoman said: “Gardaí was at the site of an incident in Ballymun this evening, Thursday, November 5, 2020, around 6 p.m.”
“A man, the details of which are currently unknown, was taken care of by the emergency services and taken to the hospital after suffering obvious stab wounds.
“No further information is currently available. Investigations are ongoing.”
