George, Charlotte and Louis write Mother’s Day cards to ‘Granny Diana’

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis paid tribute to their “Grandma Diana” on Mother’s Day and said, “Dad misses you.”

Images of cards made by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s three children have been posted on social media by Kensington Palace.

The palace said Mother’s Day will be “different” this year, adding that many people will look forward to a time in the not-too-distant future when they can hug their mother again.

“But for those in grief, today can be a particularly challenging day.

“Every year on Mother’s Day, George, Charlotte and Louis make cards in memory of their grandmother Diana for William.

“Whatever your circumstances, we think of you this Mother’s Day,” said the palace.

The social media post features what appears to be a crayon drawing of a landscape with a tree, the sun, and birds flying in a blue sky.

George’s card reads: “Dear Grandma Diana, Happy Happy Mother’s Day. I love you very much and I always think of you. I send a lot of love from george xxxxx. “

Charlotte’s card says: “Dear Grandma Diana, I think of you on Mother’s Day. I love you very much. Dad misses you. Lots of love Charlotte xxxxxxxxx.”

Louis’ card features a painted drawing of a large heart and is adorned with animal stickers.
