British celebrity Ghislaine Maxwell is returning on Monday, November 15, 2021, ahead of her trial where she is accused of referring underage girls for pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Epstein’s former girlfriend, 59, was initially charged on six counts:

Further sex trafficking charges were brought later in March 2021, including one related to sex trafficking in minors.

Maxwell has denied all charges and pleaded not guilty.

When is Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial?

The trial of Ghislaine Maxwell begins on Monday, November 29, 2021 and is expected to last several weeks.

The trial, which will take place in downtown Manhattan, New York City, was originally supposed to start in July but was postponed when the additional fees were added.

She is charged in the Downtown Manhattan courtroom by US District Court judge Alison J. Nathan.

Potential jurors for the case have received questionnaires and will answer questions from the judge from November 16 to November 19.

The upcoming trial will not address Maxwell’s perjury numbers.

Maxwell was arrested in New Hampshire and has repeatedly denied bail five times.

Maxwell has repeatedly claimed that the conditions in which it was held were extremely poor.

Her family received backlash from the public after his siblings tweeted that their conditions of detention were against Nelson Mandela Rules.

Ghislaine Maxwell is the daughter of media mogul Robert Maxwell. She is Robert’s ninth and youngest child, born in France in 1961.

Robert was a former MP and press baron who was once one of the richest people in the world.

He died under mysterious circumstances with pathologists unable to agree on the cause of death, which in 1991 was classified as accidental drowning. Weeks after his death, a £ 460 million hole was discovered in his company’s pension fund.

He died after falling from his yacht, the Lady Ghislaine.

It is believed that Ghislaine moved to the United States after his death and became a close associate of Epstein. The exact nature of their relationship is unclear, but they were known to be romantically linked.
