Gift company offers the chance to be paid to date

Gift retailer Prezzybox is on the hunt for love birds ready and willing to test out a range of romantic experiences and activities ahead of Valentine’s Day.

The Official Date Tester role will require applicants to experience a range of couples experiences and activities and to report back on their dates on a range of criteria, including how fun their date was, how much they get to enjoy their date’s company, how likely they are to recommend the date to others, and if they believe the experience was worth its value.

The successful applicant will receive £ 300 to cover expenses, travel, and their time as the official Date Tester.

Experience experts at Prezzybox chose three of the brand’s most popular experiences to see how they compare to each other when it comes to the romance factor.

They’ve included both typical romantic date options, as well as more adventurous options to keep things varied for the Official Date Tester.

The number one best-selling experience at Prezzybox is the Glamping Break for Two, which will be the first activity for the Date Tester to tackle.

This experience will see the Date Tester and a guest head off on a romantic one-night stay in a beautiful campsite location of their choice, with more than 24 UK destinations to choose from.

Following that, the Date Tester and their date will head on a Bounce Below for Two experience to test the activity’s romance factor.

Set in a 176-year-old disused cavern in the heart of the Welsh countryside, the couple will get their hearts racing one way or another as they trampoline the day away.

The final task on the table for the official Date Tester will be heading off on a romantic Spa Retreat with Afternoon Tea for Two, where the lucky couple can take full advantage of serene spa facilities together, as well as indulge in a tasty selection of treats .

Ophelia Griffiths, Brand and Partnerships Manager at Prezzybox, said: “At Prezzybox, we love getting into the romantic spirit – especially at Valentine’s Day. Our experiences are becoming increasingly popular as Valentine’s gifts, but we need to know which are the best – this is the perfect opportunity for someone to connect with a partner or date, document their time together (not in too much detail, of course!), and report back to the team with their opinions. “

“We know going for meals and to the cinema are lovely ideas for dates, but we want to understand if our ‘outside the box’ experiences spark the same sort of romance for love birds.

“Glamping, underground trampolining and segway driving aren’t your typical first dates, but let’s see if they work just as well – or better than typical Valentine’s date ideas!”
