We’ve all had those nights when a few pints turned into a big night – but this group may have taken their “some quiet” ones a little too far.

The friends in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland met on Saturday 28th August for a few drinks to enjoy the weekend in the popular Railway Bar.

And after pubs in Ireland have been closed for months to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s no wonder many of us want to make up for lost time.

According to comments on a TikTok video, the bill was between six people who started drinking at 1 p.m. and then didn’t leave until the bar closed – almost 11 hours later.

Have you seen a major cash bill since the pubs reopened earlier this year? Let us know in the comments below.

This group was obviously interested in enjoying their rediscovered freedoms, with Coors, Moretti, Jägermeister, Tequila, Carlsberg, Heineken and an incredible amount of Guinness all on the tab.

One of the group filmed the aftermath of their session – with the receipt stretched out in front of them – and showed the terrifying sum of their evening expenses.

Overall, the drinking session cost the group a whopping € 679.90 (approx. £ 580).

The group spent more than € 600 in one night
