Matt Hancock said the government wants to be “completely open and transparent” about vaccines when asked how many people died from a sting.
Conservative MP William Wragg (Hazel Grove) said, “Does the NHS have data that suggests how many people have died of Covid in NHS hospitals three weeks after receiving their first dose of the Covid vaccine?”
Mr Hancock replied, “The data on the effects of the vaccine, including the side effects of the vaccine and including death in people after the vaccine, which is rare.
“These data are published by the MHRA. If there is data in this area that has not been published but that he would like to publish, I would be very happy to publish this further data if he writes me.”
“Because we have essentially taken the stance of being as transparent as possible, because vaccines, like all drugs, have side effects, and we want to be completely open and transparent about these in order to essentially insure people the risks are extremely low.”
