Anyone desperate for summer sun after the coronavirus travel restrictions were lifted can apply for a job abroad.

It’s hard work and the hours are long – but the rewards can be great and you will meet many wonderful people from all walks of life.

UK’s largest tour operator Tui is recruiting for a wide variety of roles, though Brexit and the pandemic have limited prospects for summer 2021.

There are in-resort jobs available and the company is promoting to ensure that the company is in the best possible position when the trip is fully resumed.

There are currently vacancies in the Greek Islands, Cyprus, Lanzarote, the Balearic Islands, mainland Spain and Bulgaria. However, many on-site positions are now being hired and opportunities are limited for potential employees who want summer work.

Fitness and leisure instructor

Join TUI BLUE as a fitness and leisure time teacher and help to spend fantastic holidays in international flagship concept hotels for couples / adults or families.

tasks

  • Plan and deliver a fitness program with relaxation, strengthening, cardio and aqua classes
  • Assist guests with exercise and fitness equipment, including health, safety and maintenance
  • Support or participate in additional day and evening activities such as team events and themed evenings, which vary when you are staying in a TUI BLUE For Two (adults) or TUI BLUE For Families hotel
  • Work in an international team that offers guests and colleagues a really helpful service
  • Help the team deal with complaining and sometimes emotional guests if necessary
  • Different working hours in accordance with our service standards and the needs of the guests

Job requirements

  • Passion for sport and fitness
  • You must be 18 years old to work at TUI
  • Work experience in sports or fitness, or at least your personal experience

Provide fun and professional education for adults, toddlers and children ages three and up.

  • Coaching children and adults with different skills according to the curriculum
  • Actively sell and promote sessions
  • Participation in daytime activities, team shows and party dances
  • Work as part of a large team and provide helpful service to all of your guests
  • Different working hours – especially at the beginning of the season
  • Support the occasional dealings with complaining or emotional guests

Job requirements

  • A really helpful person who is dedicated to great service and swim training
  • Swimming instructor qualification or equivalent national swimming instructor training for your country enabling you to teach children and adults
  • A current lifeguard qualification or an equivalent qualification
  • You must be 18 years old to work at TUI
  • Experience in swimming lessons and working with children
  • The ability to communicate well with adults, families and children of all ages
  • Perseverance, endurance and flexibility
  • Maturity and professionalism for living and working abroad
  • Good English – additional languages ​​an advantage
  • Available for training courses in March (holiday villages) and May (TUI BLUE FOR FAMILIES) 2021

Coach

Work in Holiday Village or BLUE FOR FAMILIES and provide fun and professional coaching sessions for adults, toddlers and children ages 4 to 16.

  • Minimum of Level II coaching qualification / C license, UEFA B-Level or equivalent
  • The ability to communicate well with adults, families and children
  • Confident, fun and creative personality – can fit into a large team and work as part of a large team
  • Perseverance, endurance and flexibility
  • Maturity and professionalism for living and working abroad
  • Good English – additional languages ​​an advantage

Help with a creative childcare program with fun and inspiring activities for children up to 12 years old.

tasks

  • Working as part of a childcare team in a fun and safe environment
  • Teams can be of different sizes and nationalities
  • Use creativity to make sure kids club sessions are fun and fun for children of all ages
  • Use the skills, experience and the tools available to ensure that the kids club safety standards are followed
  • Support of day and evening team events such as character parades and party dances
