Head teachers’ group calls for scrapping of exams

A large group of school principals called for the abolition of GCSE and A-level exams this summer as plans for schools to reopen this month are in chaos due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Most elementary schools in England are slated to open on Monday, followed by a staggered start for secondary schools a week later, with GCSE and A-level students returning first.
