It’s hard to hide that you have a dog.
Let’s face it, your hair goes everywhere – even on your clean laundry.
While I don’t mind having a few dog hair pounding around here and there, getting the hair out of your clothes can be frustrating.
So it was a relief to discover that there is a product that will dissolve dog hair in the washing machine.

Of course, I clicked the Buy Now button Amazon and waited patiently for my new gizmo to arrive.
I chose the Vamoosh Pet Hair Dissolver and on the box it is recommended to use it when washing your pet’s bedding.
We are testing a new website:
But it says you can use it on an empty laundry, I did both because I wanted to see if it would loosen the hair that was left in the washing machine and on my dog’s bed.
All you have to do is pour the contents into the powder dispenser and set your washing machine on the longest cycle at the hottest temperature.
It’s worth noting that due to the temperature at which you need to use it, it probably isn’t a good idea to use the hair curler to wash your clothes.
But let’s talk about the results.
I peeled off the covers – much to my dog’s horror – and put them in my washing machine. I loaded the powder dispenser with two sachets of Vamoosh on the longest cycle and hottest temperature and waited patiently.
Although I was quite skeptical about this product at first, I was very surprised when the comforter was free of hair – it worked!
When I used it on the empty cycle, I noticed that there seemed to be no more hair when I went to wash my clothes later.
I was concerned that the comforter might shrink during the wash due to the washing temperature, but it would fit over the foam mattress again.
So it’s definitely a great product for keeping your washing machine clean.
