I'm A Celeb fan gets unique tattoo to mark show's run in Wales

A fan of I’m A Celeb made sure he will never forget the time the show came to North Wales with a unique tattoo on his leg.

Phil Norval has a permanent memory of this year’s TV series thanks to his cousin’s ink.

The tatt shows off the key elements of this year’s show – including hosts Ant and Dec, the lock, and some of the experimental creatures, reports NorthWalesLive.

47-year-old Phil from Rhyl has added I’m A Cele to his body art collection – including ET, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and Star Wars.

Getting the tattoo was an attempt in itself of taking three hoiurs and was done by his nephew Michael James Norval who works in the New Skin Tattoo Studio in Abergele.

Phil said, “I’ve always been a huge fan of Ant and Dec and I love all of their shows. I was very excited to hear that I’m a celebrity coming to North Wales.

“I thought I might as well get a tattoo to mark the occasion as it could never happen again.

“I talked to my nephew Mike about getting something done and he came up with a design for me.

“I did it on the back of my leg – it was probably one of the most painful in the middle of my thigh.”

He added, “I’m covered in tattoos, I have around 20 of them including ET and Finding Nemo, but this one is probably the most random – it’s completely different.

“I’m very happy with it, but nobody knows about it yet.

“I hope Ant and Dec find out about this.”

Phil said, “I’m not just saying this because the show is filmed in North Wales, I really think this is the best show yet.

“The roommates are a great bunch. I really want Jordan North to win.”
