Barclays customers were frustrated this morning (Oct. 27) after the bank’s app and online banking services went down.
Customers reported being unable to access Barclays mobile and online banking services. On DownDetector there was a noticeable increase in reports of outages after 6:20 a.m.
Users reported that the Barclays mobile app either unexpectedly signed them out or told them they don’t have an account.

Does the Barclays app work?
At 10 a.m., the Barclays mobile app was back up and running, as was the online banking service.
Previously there were messages on his. displayed Status page to inform users that the bank is “currently fixing a problem with our app”.
Now the status page will notify customers that the app is back online and apologize for the fact that “it took us some time to fix this”.
Previously, Barclays customers had vented their frustration on social media and wondered aloud why the app and online banking weren’t working.
The bank apologized to customers and said it was working to resolve the problem.

According to the Barclays status page, users should now be able to use both the Barclays and Barclaycard apps as normal.
However, if you continue to have problems, Barclays recommends that you tap Home after signing in to the app. You should then be able to view your accounts as normal.
