ITV I’m a Celebrity 2021: The two secret celebrities set to enter

I’m a star this year … get me out of here! Cast list rumors had been floating around for some time.

And now it’s officially announced this year’s standout line-up, which confirms all entrants heading to Gwrych Castle in Wales for 2021.

But it is noticeable that the official line-up is missing two stars who were hot on the cake.

They are soap icons Simon Gregson, who plays Steve McDonald on Coronation Street, and Adam Woodyatt, better known as Ian Beale on EastEnders.

Given that only 10 celebrities have been announced, it is likely that ITV will introduce two wild cards a little later in the series.

Last year it was up to musical star Ruthie Henshall and classical singer Russell Watson to make a surprise appearance.

The duo had to face the other candidates on an exam called Stage Fright, a nod to their careers, to win stars.

Adam and Simon’s absence from the I’m A Celebrity list made many fans speculate on Monday night.

“Does that mean Simon Gregson and Adam Woodyatt are coming 4 days later?” asked one.

“So Simon Gregson and Adam Woodyatt must be 11th and 12th,” wrote another viewer. “That means we’ll have a Soap Challenge when it comes up.”

While a third said, “Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson are definitely going in later.”

Simon Gregson, better known as Steve McDonald on Coronation Street, will join the series as another wildcard in 2021

I’m A Celebrity will take place for the second time in Wales in the Australian jungle due to the “ongoing uncertainty” about Covid-19 and international travel and a “very successful run” in 2020.

Hosts Ant and Dec teased their comeback to Abergele and recently confirmed that Kiosk Cledwyn, which replaced Kiosk Kev in the 2020 series, would also be making a return.

I’m a celebrity … get me out of here! starts on Sunday, November 21st at 9 p.m. on ITV.
