Jeff Ross remembers his friend Bob Saget.
the comedian multiple photos posted of the late “Full House” star, including some of them along with Saget’s other close friend John Mayer on Friday, and encouraged his followers to show love to loved ones.
“Try to tell someone you love that you love them this weekend,” Ross captioned the photos. “A little bit goes a long way.”
Saget died unexpectedly earlier this month at age 65, hours after performing to a sold-out Florida crowd.
Ross, 56, was also candid about Saget’s funeral, telling Page Six that the ceremony was “fine. The audience was littered with stars, just the way Bob would have wanted it.”
He also revealed that the night after the funeral, Saget’s friends “threw him a makeshift rock and roll shiva” into the small room above The Comedy Store in Hollywood.
Many of Saget’s friends were deeply saddened, including Mayer who designed a hoodie to raise money for the Scleroderma Research Foundation, a cause close to the heart of the late comic as his sister Gay died of the disease.
Lara, one of Saget’s daughters with ex-wife Sherri Kramer, shared a heartfelt post about her late father last week.
“For anyone who is afraid to love, unconditional love is the greatest gift,” she began.
“My dad loved everything he had,” she continued, alongside a photo of her and her dad sharing a tender moment on set. “He had so many reasons to be afraid to love. Many loved ones dropped the body.”
But, Lara explained, “Instead of being afraid, he loved more. I am beyond grateful to receive and give that love.
“Love completely and be kind. Of all the lessons he has taught me, these feel the most. With love ❤️”
Saget’s widow, Kelly Rizzo, has also written about her overwhelming grief, saying, “The world will never be the same.”
