The Duchess of Cambridge overcame the fallout between Prince William and Harry by “rising above it,” a royal expert claimed.
Despite being personally criticized by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Kate Middleton has decided to ignore the hurtful comments and acts as a peacemaker between the brothers.
The mirror recounts how royal commentator Camilla Tominey believes Kate is “putting her best foot forward” in an effort to reunite the feudal siblings.
In their Oprah Winfrey interview, “Tell All,” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made several explosive claims – including that Kate made Meghan cry while adjusting a bridesmaid and also unsupported her as she joined the royal family.
Weeks later, Harry was reunited with the Windsors at Prince Philip’s funeral, where Kate was the first family member to chat with him. Meghan, who is heavily pregnant, was unable to seek medical advice.
Write for Stella magazineRoyal Expert Camilla Tominey said: “Despite the Oprah Winfrey interview with Duke and Duchess of Sussex when Kate was accused of making Meghan cry while being a bridesmaid’s fit and not supporting her, Kate rose resolutely above everything else.
“Aside from any personal resentment she still feels about Harry and Meghan’s two hours of television on TV, Kate has done her best to find a way to reconcile the brothers.
“Few would have accused her of giving Harry the cold shoulder, but she clearly decided the situation needed to be appeased rather than aggravated.”
Another royal commentator, Christopher Wilson, told the magazine that he believed Kate’s decision to start a conversation with Harry, which resulted in the Duke chatting one-on-one with William when the family came from the service at St. George’s Chapel went away, a decision was a spontaneous occurrence.
He said, “I thought it was completely spontaneous and wise to let the two brothers talk to each other.
“It was a clever move that shows that the Duchess is not overwhelmed by everything that is going on.”
Kate was always very close to Harry and he once described her as the sister he never had.
They participated in a number of collaborative engagements and together they founded their mental health organization, Heads Together.
When Harry lived at Kensington Palace, he spent a lot of time in the Cambridge apartment, and Kate often cooked him dinner.
She was reportedly always there to give him advice, especially when it came to love and romance.
