Katy Perry eases her beauty regimen while socially distancing herself at home.
Like many Americans, the pregnant ‘American Idol’ judge is quarantined during the coronavirus pandemic – and is trying to embrace a new, fresh look.
The 35-year-old ‘Never Really Over’ singer, who is engaged to actor Orlando Bloom, took to Instagram over the weekend to share two photos of herself – one taken ‘pre-quarantined’ and one shot ‘mid-quarantined.’
In the first photo, Perry poses in a red and white floral Rosie Assoulin dress in a tropical setting. The singer looks glamorous with platinum blonde locks and bright red lips. Click or swipe right to see her second photo, which shows Perry smiling in a makeup-free selfie. Her blonde hair is now pulled back in a no-fuss style and shows dark roots.

While Perry looks gorgeous in both photos, the singer jumped in her own comments to point out flaws in her skin. “Blackheads and all babies,” she wrote.
Her fans didn’t have it, however.
“Imagine being so beautiful by nature. FLAWLESS ‘, gushed.
“You literally SHINE. You look good on pregnancy, ‘wrote another.
Prior to self-quarantine, Perry – known for her eclectic style – has retained her quirky taste with her fashionable maternity wear.
She rocked a long, multicolored knit dress that hugged her stomach perfectly during a performance in Melbourne, Australia, on March 7.
The next day, she wore two daring 1960s-inspired choices during a performance at the Melbourne Women’s Cricket Championship. One look was a pink mini dress, with a bright yellow flower on the right side of her baby bump.
She also wore a hip purple and pink dress decorated with a Venus symbol in honor of International Women’s Day. Was the symbol a gender revealed? The singer has still not announced whether she is expecting a boy or a girl.
A month earlier, Perry still hid her pregnancy from photographers by cleverly covering her belly with bags. She also sometimes chose shapeless looks to hide her baby bump, such as the over-the-top ruffled pink dress she wore during an evening in London on February 3.
Whether in town or safe at home, we always love to see Katy’s fashion choices!
