The slimmer figure of Kim Jong-un is said to have left North Koreans “heartbroken” amid growing health fears in the hermit state after it was reported that he lost more than three stones in a year
Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un appears thinner than ever when appearing on another propaganda show.
The tyrant’s health has sparked a worldwide debate with North Koreans, who have been instructed not to talk about the 37-year-old’s slender new look.
During the Youth Day celebrations in Pyongyang, he was seen wearing a very loose jacket and excess skin around his neck.
During his television appearance, he wore a generous white shirt and walked in front of a grandstand with hundreds of school children. Some cried as he waved to the crowd.
It is understood that in one year he lost 44 pounds – more than three kilos in weight.

Chain smoker and cheese eater Kim had reportedly gained a stone every year since he came to power in 2011.
His health was heavily debated with reports that he secretly attended a health retreat after helpers became concerned about his heavy physique.
There have been other suggestions that he had gastric banding and his supposed health concerns left some “heartbroken” in the country.
Rumors about the dictator’s health forced Pyongyang to ban gossip about his weight earlier this year.
Spreading rumors about his health is considered treason by the government, a North Korean insider told US-backed Radio Free Asia website.
His private life is said to be taboo for the strictly controlled state media in North Korea. He never confirmed how many children he fathered.
The source said: “When stories of health problems related to the weight loss of the Supreme Dignity began to spread among residents, many of the neighborhood guards here in Chongjin made official statements to people at their weekly meeting, saying it was a ‘reactionary’ Act ‘act’ to talk about the leader’s health.

“The neighborhood guards also said the sudden weight loss was not due to a health problem, but that it is suffering in the best interests of the country and the people in crisis alone.”
According to pictures published by Pyongyang’s official news agency, KCNA, and on state television, he looked noticeably less overweight in June.
According to the South Korean secret service, he weighed 22 stones last year, which would give him a classification as morbidly obese.
