Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, quietly confirmed her relationship with Riley Hawk, son of famed pro-skateboarder Tony Hawk, at the top of 2022.
The rock star royal, 29, slid a holiday photo of a grinning Riley, also 29, into a small gallery of photos she shared to Instagram while reflecting on her time away from social media.
“I took a year long break from posting on Instagram which was exceptionally good for my mental, emotional & spiritual health,” she began. 2021 brought me more into the present moment than I’ve ever been, which I’m deeply grateful for.
“I wanted to share a few moments that were captured / created this past year that brought me a great amount of joy,” she added. “Here’s to hoping everyone’s 2022 is filled with authentic connections, a lot of warmth & profound discovery of self 🥂.”
In addition to a photo of Riley smiling with a Santa-dressed pup in his arms, she also shared various pieces of artwork and one of the pair snuggled up together while vacationing with Hawk’s dad, Tony, and his wife Catherine Goodman.
She also included a selfie, a snap of grandmother Wendy O’Connor — Cobain’s mother — and photos of her dogs.
The LA native also included a throwback picture of Frances as a baby sleeping next to her famous father.
“Happy New Year my love! ❤️👸❤️,” Riley replied within her comment section.
Frances filed for divorce from ex-husband Isaiah Silva in 2016 after two years of marriage. What followed was a drama-filled battle over one of Cobain’s famed guitars, which went to Cobain’s “obsessed” ex. It was later auctioned off for $6.01 million.
