Live iPhone 13 release date: Apple September 14 event confirmed and all the rumours

What new features will we see on iPhone 13?

This year we are expecting an expanded version of the portrait mode for the phone’s camera. This should give users a blurring effect in the background of the video when creating films, reports Bloomberg.

The new handsets will also come with a feature called ProRes, a higher quality movie that improves the look and color of videos.

Inside, it will have an A15 chip, and by design the phones will have a smaller “notch,” the cutout at the top of the screen that holds the phone’s selfie camera.

Some of the hoped-for features, such as a return of Touch ID with an underscreen sensor, are not to be expected on this year’s device.

However, the new phone comes with a screen with a faster refresh rate. This should make for smoother scrolling and sharper video games. The refresh rate of the iPhone is increased from 60 Hz to 120 Hz.
