A teenager was arrested after a man in his forties died after being hit by a car in a supermarket parking lot, police said.
The 46-year-old was walking near Paisley Road West in Glasgow when he was struck by around 11:35 p.m. on Friday.
He died on the scene and a 17-year-old boy was arrested for the incident, which is believed to have occurred in the Cardonald Morrisons parking lot.
A police spokeswoman for Scotland said: “We were made aware of a collision involving a 46-year-old male pedestrian in a supermarket parking lot on Paisley Road West in Glasgow on Friday October 1st just after 11.35pm hit a car.
“The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“A 17-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and an investigation is ongoing.”
