This is the terrible moment when a man was buried alive under a pile of gravel for three minutes.
The man was engulfed from head to toe after a truck driver accidentally dumped on the gravel at a construction site in Nairobi, Kenya, unaware that he was directly behind it.
The colleagues fought for three minutes to pull the man out of the gravel during the incident on Tuesday.
One man grabbed his legs – which protruded from the gravel mound – while others came to him with spades.
Shocking footage shows the unconscious man being pulled out of the gravel before finally showing up after receiving first aid and CPR.
Geography teacher Dicken Muchena, 27, who filmed the footage, said: “This team was moving the gravel to a construction site when the dump truck driver was lowering the material without knowing that either of them was behind it.
“The victim was buried by the head and for more than three minutes everyone around him struggled to remove him from the material.
“I was shocked too, but decided to record the video amid the agony.
“After a while he was removed and we provided first aid for him. By God’s grace, he finally regained consciousness.”
