Man knocks out wife with one slap after spotting her in restaurant with two men

A raging husband stormed into a restaurant and knocked out his wife with one slap after finding her eating with two men.

CCTV footage shows a man strike a woman, who then immediately slumps down on her seat – apparently unconscious – before smashing sounds are heard after he picks up an empty beer bottle and moves off camera.

He then appears to aim a flurry of attacks at a man sitting next to his wife, using various items off the table as staff and other customers flee the scene.

The shocking incident – in a restaurant in the city of Baoding in China’s northern province of Hebei – was captured on July 2, reports Sichuan-based news outlet The Cover.

The clip begins with the man dressed in shorts walking past a member of staff who is cleaning dishes.

He reportedly says “bring me two beers” before heading to a booth where a woman is sat with a man – while another is sitting off camera, according to reports.

He stops in front of the woman and swings his right fist towards her forehead, seemingly knocking her out instantly.

He then goes to the other side of the table armed with the bottle and smashing sounds are heard as customers gasp and hurry out.

The attacker comes back into view and turns his attention to the man sitting next to the woman, reportedly saying: “This is my wife!”

The man is said to reply: “I know. Please, wait, wait!”

The husband attacks the man with a jar of condiments and then a teapot, the video shows.

His wife remains motionless on the cushioned seat.

He is then reported to shout: “This is my wife! I’ve been watching outside for 20 minutes!

“Who are you? What is your name?”

A family sitting not far from the table is seen leaving hurriedly as the commotion started.

Baoding police were called to the scene at around 9pm, and officers are investigating the incident, which left all three customers injured, The Cover reports.

No arrests had been announced as of Thursday evening.
