Man's billboard campaign to try and find his 'Mrs Right'

Bachelor Mohammad Malik launched a poster campaign in a British city to help him find his soulmate.

The 29 year old created the website and posted his picture on giant billboards across Birmingham to support his campaign.

Birmingham Live According to reports, motorists on the A34 near the Perry Barr Greyhound Track see a 20-foot billboard of his lying on its side, pointing up with a big smile and joking, “Save me from an arranged marriage.”

Mohammad, a Muslim innovation consultant and entrepreneur, is from London but said he chose Birmingham for “quality city center restaurants, bustling Alum Rock (and) the incredible mosques”.

His website describes his search for love at no cost.

“I just haven’t found the right girl yet. It’s tough out there,” said Mohammad, who describes himself as slim and six feet tall.

“I had to get a billboard to be seen!

“My ideal partner would be a Muslim woman in her twenties trying to improve her faith.

“I’m open to any ethnicity, but I have a noisy Punjabi family – so you have to stick to the spell”

“Always personality and belief above everything else!

“PS I’m an only child and take care of my mom and dad. If this is a deal breaker, I don’t think it’ll work.”

Mohammad says he took the unusual route to find romance after the usual methods of meeting “the one” failed to bear fruit.

He said, “I’m a creative, I love doing the most random and absurd – but 100 percent halal, of course – things.

“Traditional methods like ‘Rishta aunts’ didn’t work for me so I thought why not put them on the billboards!”

He added, “I hope to find the one. It’s just getting started, but the answers so far have been in double digits – go ahead!”

Mohammad stressed that his search for love was real and that he was not against arranged marriages.

He said, “I think arranged marriages have a place and a tradition in many Islamic cultures. In fact, there are plenty of studies to show that arranged marriages have many benefits.

“I just want to try to find someone on my own first.”

Mohammad says he has already received a great response to his wife’s search advertisements – with a “double-digit” number of replies.

Any lady who thinks she matches the bill can contact him through his website which you can access click here.
