A professional martial artist sustained horrific facial injuries after setting his face on fire in a stunt.

Owais Ahmad Dar filmed himself practicing a fire breathing trick in South Kashmir, India.

He held a mouth full of kerosene before breathing on a burning stick and hurling the flames into the air above him.

But in one terrifying video, some of the fuel remains on his face, causing the flames to devour him.

His friends tried desperately to put out the fire, but the damage was already done.

Owais was hospitalized in Srinagar, where he is being treated for severe burns.

His injuries occur weeks after Der Spiegel reported that a 14th hyena attacked an elderly man.

Forest officials later found the giant animal’s body 45 kilometers away.

The clip shows the OAP walking down a street with his little dog in a village near the west Indian city of Pune when a vicious hyena sticks out of the grass to his left.

The predator approaches and pounces on the frightened old man before crossing over to a passing motorcyclist. Immediately someone comes to his aid, but the creature warns him with its teeth.

The man was reportedly barely killed after the attack in the village of Kharpudi in the west Indian city of Pune.

Forestry officials said hyenas rarely attack humans and that humans were irritated by a previous injury that caused their aggression. The sun reported.

The forest’s assistant curator, Mr. Jayaramegowda, said, “An elderly person and a cyclist were injured when a hyena was attacked in Kharpudi village.

“Hyena attacks are not very common. We learned that the hyena was already injured when it attacked the two people.

“The animal was later found dead. We believe that the irritation from the injury may have triggered the attack.

“We have started the process to pay compensation to the two injured.”

Hyenas rarely attack or kill humans and are rare among the victims of predators.
