Now that Meghan Markle has moved to L.A. and gotten her first Hollywood concert since leaving the UK, it’s time for her to return to another of her passions: writing.
Markle jumps head first in her new life now that she and Prince Harry have resigned from their royal family position. According to We weekly, the Duchess is preparing her second cookbook and plans to relaunch her lifestyle blog, The Tig, which was closed when things got serious with Harry. His first cookbook, Together: our community cookbook, which she co-wrote with The Hubb Community Kitchen, was released in 2018.
“Meghan has loads of projects in the works,” the source said, including many philanthropic works.
In 2019, Markle renewed the brand for The Tig, sparking rumors that it would relaunch the site, described as a “hub for discerning palates – those hungry for food, travel, fashion and beauty.” Alas, at the time, a spokesperson revealed that “the enduring brand is to prevent fake brands [and] to avoid others claiming to be duchess or affiliated with her. “
But now fans of the blog have hope again. Interestingly, Markle once wrote about her childhood dreams of becoming a princess and Kate Middleton on The Tig, long before meeting her future husband. “Little girls dream of being princesses. For my part, I was all about She-Ra, the princess of power,” she says. wrote in 2014. “And adult women seem to keep this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and the circumstances surrounding the royal wedding and the endless conversation about Princess Kate.”
I am happy that Meghan Markle is back to doing what she really enjoys with her family by her side. And if it raises The Tig, I bet the site traffic will go through the roof.
