Most dog friendly companies to work for in the UK revealed

The UK’s most dog-friendly companies have been announced, according to a new report.

Research carried out by Rover.com, the world’s largest network of five-star pet sitters and dog walkers, shows which companies support or benefit employees with pets the most.

This follows a recent survey by Rover which found that 65 percent of UK owners think working with their dog improves their mental health and wellbeing.

Factors considered in determining the UK’s best dog-friendly businesses included whether dogs were allowed into the office, paid time off for pet loss or adoption, a pet “grant” to help out with costs such as insurance, and amenities in the office such as treats, goals or dog beds.

Number one on the list of 17 companies was the consumer research platform Testify.

The London-based company, which received an overall rating of 4.38 out of five, scored in all four of Rover’s applicable categories, offering dog-friendly office space, pet recreation and a pet scholarship, and other amenities.

A statement from Rover said: “Attest’s team members are supported with up to 5 paid days off when adopting a new pet and up to 8 weeks of additional flexible time to ensure they have ample time with their new family member to have.

“Atest also celebrates and shares important information about each office dog using its internal” dogtabase “.”

However, service companies TaskRabbit, whose UK office is also in London, and the Leeds-based pet care company itch, were close behind certificate.

With 4.36 out of a total of five points, the two companies took second and third place.

Unsurprisingly, both companies allowed dogs in the office, workplace amenities for animals, and recreation for pets, with Itch also providing a “scholarship” for pets.

More specifically, however, TaskRabbit offers pet workers full coverage for their pet’s insurance, plus three extra days of paid vacation when they adopt a new furry family member.

Itch employees receive PTO and a £ 50 pet gift when they adopt a new pet, plus additional perks such as pet charity volunteer days and pet birthday gifts.

Itch employees are also offered paid time off for loss of pets.

Fourth on the list with a score of 4.29, Ethical Dog Breeding Platform and Pet Community Tail-wise has a similarly sympathetic PTO policy.

Team members at Tailwise can take up to five additional days when adopting a new pet, while the absence of bereavement is at the employee’s discretion.

Meanwhile, it was in fifth place Procore technologies, in London.

With an overall rating of 4.24, the building software management company scores with its numerous advantages for dogs.

Rover’s report states: “Aside from the Furry Friends Slack channel, pet owners enjoy partial coverage for pet insurance, quarterly animal care grants, dog-friendly“ Pawties ”happy hour, and Procore branded dog tags.

Were further down the list but with similarly unique offers CharlieHR, at number 12, which offers dog play rooms and a dog park on the roof, as well as an office rental agency office, at number 8, which offer day care for dogs in the office.
