A mother who went missing in 2018 was found dead.
Christina Rack, 48, went missing in October 2018 when she left her home in Bolesworth Close in Chorlton, Manchester.
The mother of two was believed to have met her son on a forest walk in Chorlton Meadows.
Her body was found on April 13 by walkers in the Chorlton Ees Nature Reserve near the River Mersey.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death, police said in a statement released today (May 28). reports the MEN.
“Christina’s family would like to thank everyone who has supported the search for Christina since she was reported missing,” the statement added.
After her disappearance, police officers searched Sale Water Park and the surrounding area as part of the investigation.
Christina suffered from mental health problems and left home without her medication.
In October 2018 her brother Martin told the M.E.N. : “There was no indication that it would disappear.
“There was no problem, no argument within the family that had come to a head.
“She had mental health problems and had been treated with medication. The week before, there were signs that she was becoming a little anxious.”
Detectives ask anyone with information about Christina’s disappearance to contact them.
