National Express will completely suspend all scheduled bus services with effect from 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, January 10th.
Chris Hardy, Managing Director of National Express UK Coach: “We provided an essential service for essential travel needs. However, given tighter restrictions and falling passenger numbers, this is no longer appropriate. “
All trips before Monday are completed to ensure that passengers making essential trips are not stranded. All customers whose trip has been canceled will be contacted and given a free change or full refund.
Chris Hardy said, “As the vaccination program goes live and government policies change, we will be checking regularly to see when we can resume services. We plan to be back on the road as soon as the time is right and have a tentative restart date on Monday March 1st (subject to change).
“The entire National Express team has worked incredibly hard in 2020, and I want to thank them for their efforts while we suspend our services. We will now make sure that we are ready to get back behind the wheel when the nation needs us again. “
