Visual Concepts is a studio originally founded way back in 1988 and was later acquired by Sega in 1999. A few years later, Saga sold the company to Take-Two in 2005. Since then, they have been in a role for creating one of the best sports games in the industry.

Now the studio employs more than 350 people, and it seems like their team is going to expand with their latest project.
Apparently, Visual Concepts is working on a new AAA game that will blow your mind. At least that’s what their Twitter bio says. It seems like they are working round the clock with their upcoming game since most of their social media posts are directing people to their recruitment page.
Among the many listings for a producer at Visual Concepts, the studio is also looking for a seasoned producer to join their development efforts for an unannounced open world driving game† They also stated that the new game will have a major license, which probably means that we will see a lot of popular cars from real-world car companies.
their LinkedIn page also suggests that they are looking for a senior build and automation engineer, senior technical artist, senior software engineer, and senior software engineer.
What do We know about Visual Concepts Open-World Driving Game?
The name of the game or the concept is still unknown, and to be honest, it needs to be perfect in order to top up other car games like Forza Horizon 5. Just like their previous games like the NBA 2K series, the new open- world game will use Unreal Engine. Since we are talking about a ‘mind-blowing’ game, the graphics need to be as realistic as possible.
When it comes to playable platforms, the studio stated that their new AAA title is targeted at multiple platforms. This means that it is safe to say that the new driving game will come for PC and console.
Another important thing to mention is the multiplayer option. Since one of their job opportunities suggested that they are looking for a multiplayer software engineer, the game should also provide the option of playing with your friends.
Most people are not aware that this is not the first time for Visual Concepts to be involved in a driving game. Their closest ‘major license’ title that involves driving is Midnight Club. Midnight Club is a racing game that was released back in 2008, but it is owned by rock star games, which also owns Visual Concepts’ parent company, Take Two Interactive.
The best thing about this new AAA game is the open world feature. We rarely see racing games with major licenses that have an open-world multiplayer option. This not-so-new concept might put Visual Concepts on the map in the car game industry.
It seems like they’ve explored everything about their popular sports series and want something to spice things up and refresh their portfolio. This is the right move for the company, and we have to wait and see if our expectations will be fulfilled.
