New Royal baby arrives – and it's a boy called Lucas

Zara and Mike Tindall celebrate the birth of a son they named Lucas Philip Tindall.

The Queen’s granddaughter, Zara, and former English rugby player Mike Tindall welcomed their third child, who was born on Sunday March 21st, weighing 8 pounds 4 ounces.

The baby is born just weeks after Zara’s cousin Princess Eugenie had her son August on February 9th.

A spokeswoman for the couple said: “Zara and Mike Tindall are excited to announce the birth of their third child, Lucas Philip Tindall.”

The newest member of the Tindall family is a younger brother of seven-year-old Mia and two-year-old Lena.

He is the Queen and the 10th great-grandson of the Duke of Edinburgh, but only ranks 22nd on the throne.

Mike Tindall had joked about wanting a boy this time.
