The developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator hosted a new question-and-answer event on Twitch and made statements about the game’s future. Accordingly, new updates for the game are coming in February and March.
The first Q&A broadcast of the year 2021 was made on Twitch with developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator. The game’s head, Jorg Neumann, Asobo Studio CEO and co-founder Sebastian Wloch, and Asobo Studio Executive Producer Martial Bossard shared new information about the game’s future.
During the live broadcast, the trailer for the World Update III: United Kingdom and Ireland update was also shared. This update will be available to Microsoft Flight Simulator players from February 9 to February 11. A new update for the game will be released in March.
Microsoft Flight Simulator France and Benelux update coming in March
The update for France and the Benelux countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) will also be available to players in March. The developers have also made statements about features that players often ask for, such as the Microsoft Flight Simulator store and downloading flight simulation content, such as the FlyByWire Simulations A32NX.
Asobo Studio is making prototypes of these requested features while working on the new Scenery Gateway system at the same time. This system allows developers and community members to edit the already existing views. The studio will also release Sim Update 3 next month. With this update, players will be offered improvements to the aerial panel, Garmin autopilot system, and aircraft improvements.
The last game of the Microsoft Flight Simulator series, which won 7 times in the Guinness World Records, was awarded to PC users last year. It was also announced that the game is coming to the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, but no release date has yet been announced for these consoles.
